Bruce Irons 2007

BRUCE IRONS

Freakishly talented in all size waves but a little fragile in competition. Bruce will knock out plenty of pretenders for the title, but won't get there himself.

IN OTHER WORDS

The name Bruce Irons is synonymous with innovation, progression and style in surfing and crowds gather en masse to catch a glimpse of his moves whenever he graces the water. Securing legend status long before joining the elite pro surfing ranks Bruce Irons was always going to make an impact when up against the best of the best. His brilliant new school flashes, once rare in competition, are becoming much more frequent, and his fellow tourers are always nervous when drawing the young Hawaiian. Finishing 14th on the 2006 ratings was slight slip from 2005 but be assured that he isn’t far from returning to the event winner’s circle which will in turn see him up where he belongs in the top five surfers in the world.
